The course will equip you with the knowledge of how and why businesses start up. It will help you appreciate how businesses function and the relationship businesses has with the wider community.
UNIT 1: Introduction to small businesses
How will Unit 1 be assessed
Externally assessed exam - 45 minutes. Worth 25% of the overall GCSE.
UNIT 2: Investigating a small business
How will Unit 2 be assessed?
Controlled assessment, internally marked and externally moderated. Worth 25% of the overall GCSE.
UNIT 3: Building a business
How will Unit 3 be assessed?
Externally assessed exam - 90 minutes. Worth 50% of the overall GCSE.
